CCR Question #1 Draft

In our film project, titled GOODBYE LOVE, we had two main characters playing the main couple, Jon Love and Allie Smith. these two characters were played by our actors, Velouria Geartner, and Renee Oduardo. They were both cast in roles that were very central to the story which was a military story, with our character Jon Love, you can clearly see the military social group that we placed him in, and as a result, his fiance was involved in as well as a women or spouse of the military. They were faced with the very known and sometimes unrecognized idea of the military spouse not being happy when their partner is deployed or on duty. this is shown in the storyline when Allie Smith is writing her letter to Jon which states that she is unhappy and eventually that she is breaking things off with him, and sends back her ring to him via this letter as well. Some camera shots that we used that are recognizable for this genre were the over the shoulder shot that we used when showing Jon leaving Allie for his duty and getting in the car. Also, with a shot from above, we showed a very genre recognizable picture of the two of them hugging and getting emotional as he was leaving. However in our film clip, we challenged the genre by having Allie return her ring to Jon and with this, it shows that for the film it may not be a happy ending, which isn't the usual ending for this genre or type of film.
