We scheduled time for adequate filming and made time in case we needed to do reshoots, luckily we didn't need to because we got all the shots and videos that we needed. We scheduled and film the shots like the insert shot and other minor but powerful shots in a time-efficient manner.  The videos took longer to film and they were more difficult but weren't as time-consuming as they could have been, we made it so that we would have plenty of time in the days that we filmed to go over what we filmed and check for any errors in our filming. we had time to fil all of the shots and videos for our opening, the shot went just as planned and we got all the clips and shots that we needed.

We decided that after looking at several locations, that the best and most relevant place to shoot for our film was at a house. we choose this because of the personal effect it has on the story during the scenes that we shot there. also, we felt that this location would serve the story best by most of the story being a goodbye to Jon from his girl. we also shot in a JROTC room at our high school, to get the military feel, and to help our actors get in line with their character.

I have chosen to go forward with the film project, I just feel that this project caters more to my interests specifically, as I have always been interested in film. While print media and journalism need more attention, I feel like I just wouldn't be doing it justice with the film project being much more interesting to me. The film project is much more appealing to me because as I have discussed previously my interests in film started early on and hasn't stopped. I have always been very interested in film and production, what interests me most is the process of production and what goes on behind the scenes of a film. for example, what camera shots, and movements to use, and the specific angles, just to get a  certain effect. the way that the film is little fragments put together to form one masterpiece of work is just amazing. Movies are interesting and cinematographic, and I feel like they really capture the best that media production has to offer. I enjoy movies so much and I often enjoy a good movie, probably too often, there are so many good movies and films out there to watch. And while some may be strictly for entertainment purposes, the educational films and documentaries can be quite impactful. I happen to enjoy films a great deal more than I enjoy print journalism or media like magazines and books. For me, films are a much better way of conveying media and information because it captivates and interests more people than print media. A lot of this though has to due with the overall production and thought of the film, many more people choose to watch films. Media and journalism have interested me for as long as I can remember, as a child I would sit in front of the tv for hours and I would reenact films or act like I was producing them. I feel like the magazine project would be an excellent choice because I believe that the entire world of print journalism is sadly falling to the wayside, and. This historic form of mass media was used in a big way hundreds of years of reporting the world's most important events, gone, lost without a trace. This is a huge loss for the media world, and no one really cares or notices all that much. And they should, print media and journalism has been around for hundreds of years and used to be not only one of the biggest forms of communication in the world. This important industry should be salvaged not only because of its long history but its importance in the grand scheme of things. It is sadly sinking into the abyss of this that are losing their relevance, one of the reasons for this is new technology.
